HRPO Seminar: Consent Language, Data and Specimen Sharing, and Recruitment

Learn about the Do's and Don'ts when creating your consent document. Words do matter and too often restrictive wording and promises to destroy the data/specimens are included in the consent form. This presentation will discuss best practices in crafting a consent suitable for sharing.  This session will also cover was to best approach and recruit subjects:

  • Consent Language to Include and Avoid
  • Data Use Agreements and Consent verification
  • Current vs Past consent language
  • Genomic Data Sharing  
  • Acceptable Approaches for Recruitment
