Adding External Investigators

1) Your external investigator MUST go to www.hsconnect.pitt.edu and create an account – without this there is no way to get them into OSIRIS for selection

2) Obtain electronic copies (Word or PDF format preferred) of the Human Subjects Research education certificates.

3) Upload their certificates into your study using the drop-down list, scroll all the way down to Supporting Documentation and select it. Remember to save your work before leaving the page.

4) After the first three steps are complete, please contact us (irb@pitt.edu). It will take approximately 1 - 2 business days for the external investigator's name to be available for selection.
